“What would it look like if all those unable to protest on the streets could join those who could?”
Public_Public_Address is an ongoing, 24/7, national virtual protest in support of and in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. The ongoing protest stream features video submissions of both supporters who are unable to place themselves at physical risk and those who can protest in person.

Throughout 2020 the artists will continue to accept videos, especially welcoming submissions from those who are immunocompromised, people with disabilities, precarious community members including undocumented individuals or those at risk of deportation, medical workers and caregivers to those who are immunocompromised, those without childcare, those who are house-bound, those who are bed-bound, and the many other reasons one may need to protest “virtually.” Public_Public_Address seeks to actively prioritize BIPOC participants and center their voices in this work.
The protest launched online September 1, 2020 in conjunction with a live broadcast “Black Lives Matter TAMPA Speaks to the Moment” an hour long conversation with BLMT organizers Donna Davis and Tati Orengo.
